Final stretch of Porto W75 Tennis Tournament

During first two months of 2026, Porto hosted several ITF tournaments in a row, final of which was ITF W75 Porto III, which took place at Complexo Desportivo Monte Aventino during last week of February.

In singles category, Dutch player Anouk Koevermans became champion, after a tense match with Harriet Dart of Great Britain, who had to retire due to a shoulder injury. 6-2, 1-0 is the final score.

Natably, with this win Anouk repeated her father’s achievement^ former tennis player Mark Koevermans triumphed in Porto Challenger tournament in 1990. Thanks to this victory, will rise to her best ranking yet, the 150th position WTA. Harriet Dart, will become number 162nd.

The ITF W750 Porto III distributed $60,000 of prize money, with the winner’s share to be €6,000.
