MadjerCup Basket 3×3 – Capital do Basket 2025

On August 23–24, 2025, Matosinhos (Portugal) hosted the MadjerCup Basket 3×3, part of the “Capital do Basket 2025 – Street Basket 3×3” program and included in the Circuito Nacional 3×3 series. The event was organized by Guifões Sport Clube with the support of the Matosinhos – European City of Sport 2025 project. Games took place on the outdoor court by the Parque do Pavilhão Municipal de Guifões, bringing together dozens of teams of different age groups.

The competition featured categories ranging from youth (Sub12) to veterans, with both male and female divisions:

• Sub12 (boys and girls): Os Grandes Minorcas, Os Maracujás, Power Girls, As Marshmallows
• Sub14: Bananas, Os putos lá de cima, The Lab, Tempestade do Lance, As formigas
• Sub16: 2shooters e 1manco, 3 capitães 1 escravo, Os Pedreiros, Chuta que é cesto, Justballers
• Sub19: Rabetas, Na Raça, Peanut Butter Jelly, Pôr no gráfico, Dá me um grr
• Seniors (men and women): MVP Academy, Dragões, Shoot Happens, Bitivi, Equipa de Extermos, FC PachaOfir
• Veterans: Cosmonautas, Alcefell, Físicos, OT

In total, more than 70 teams took part in the tournament. Street Basket 3×3 is an Olympic discipline and one of FIBA’s priority projects, which is why MadjerCup was included as a stage of the Portuguese Circuito Nacional 3×3.
