Millennium Estoril Open 2026 starts strong
The Millennium Estoril Open’s qualifying rounds — the tournament’s first two days of play — were held on 18–19 July at the Clube de Ténis do Estoril in Cascais, Portugal. This is the 11th edition of the event, which returns to ATP 250 status after being run as a Challenger tournament in 2025.
First winners are Taro Daniel, Kyrian Jacquet, Pedro Martinez, David Jorda Sanchis, Francisco Rocha, Gonzalo Bueno, Orlando Luz, Chun-Hsin Tseng, Edas Butvilas, Clement Tabur, Joao Domingues and Timofey Skatov. Matches were played at all three available arenas – Court CTE, Court Cascais and the biggest one, Estadio Millennium.
The main singles field is headed by Andrey Rublev, Stanislas Wawrinka and Luciano Darderi, after early favourite Casper Ruud as well as Matteo Arnaldi, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and Alex Molčan withdrew. Defending champion Alex Michelsen also chose not to return. The main draw begins Monday, 20 July, with the tournament running through 26 July.
