Montepio Cascais Half Marathon 2025

On February 9, 2025, HMS Sports, in partnership with Montepio Associação Mutualista, Cascais City Council, and CCD Cascais, organized the 9th edition of the Montepio Cascais Half Marathon. The event featured four distances: 5 km, 10 km, the half marathon (21.1 km), and — as tradition dictates — a kids’ race held the day before, on February 8.

The half marathon route followed a single loop along the ocean, finishing on the iconic Avenida Dom Luís I in Cascais. The 2025 edition once again demonstrated the high level of organization expected from major road running events in Portugal — with well-managed water stations, baggage areas, pacers, and medical support.
