Portugal complete 58–12 performance against Hong Kong China

Portugal recorded a 58–12 win over Hong Kong China on 15 November 2025 at the Estádio Nacional do Jamor. The match marked the team’s return to victories during the November international window.

Portugal opened the scoring early through Luka Begic in the 10th minute, followed by a try from Simão Bento in the 13th minute. Rodrigo Marta added another try in the 25th minute. Nuno Sousa Guedes contributed with two conversions and a penalty, helping Portugal establish a 22–12 lead at half-time. Hong Kong responded with two tries before the break.

In the second half, Portugal controlled possession, territory and pace. The team added seven more tries: Rodrigo Marta (50’), Raffaele Storti (61’), Martim Belo (65’), Vasco Baptista (68’), Manuel Vareiro (70’) and Nicolas Martins (77’). Additional conversions and one penalty extended the final score to 58–12.

Portugal now shift focus to the upcoming test match against Canada on 22 November in Coimbra. The fixture is part of the national team’s preparation cycle for the 2025–26 season.
