Female Basketball League PT: Thrills on the parquet
On Sunday, January 25, final game of the 16th round of Portuguese Women’s Basketball league ended. Current title holder Benfica (Lisbon) welcomed Imortal BC (Albufeira) on home soil. Both teams being placed on top 5 ranking in 25/26 season added extra spice to the tension.
After four intense quarters, the winner was revealed in last minutes of the game – Lisbon hosts defeated guests from Albufeira 77-70. This put Benfica to the second place ranking this regular season with 13 wins and 29 points, and Imortal BC to the third with 11 wins and 27 points.
The 25-26’ champion of FLB Women will be decided later in spring.
