São Silvestre do Porto 2023

On December 30, 2023, the São Silvestre do Porto (29th edition) was held on Avenida dos Aliados. The event gathered around 12,000 participants, with a 10 km timed race and a 5 km walk. The course started and finished in the city center, with athletes running through downtown Porto.

In the men’s 10 km, Miguel Borges (S.C. Braga) won in 29:16, followed by Rui Pinto (Sporting C.P.) in 29:19 and João Amaro (S.L. Benfica) in 29:23. In the women’s race, Sara Duarte (Sporting C.P.) finished first in 34:47, ahead of Mariana Pimenta in 36:37 and Rita Lopes in 36:59.
