Short Track Nationals: Portugal’s finest

February 14-15th, 2026: Braga’s indoor short track hosts National athletic club Championships in three divisions. Athletes representing clubs from all over Portugal fought for prestigious champion title, as well as promotion to higher ranked divisions.

The disciplines included high jump, single and triple long jumps, pole vaulting, shot put as well as running disciplines ranging from 60 to 3000 meters and 5000m race walking.

Crowned champion of the season is Sporting, both in male and female classifications.

The gathering also marked several national records, including indoor long jump at 8.32m set by Gerson Baldé as well as number of age group records.
