Spain defeats Lithuania 102:50 to win the U20 Women’s EuroBasket 2025

On August 10, 2025, in Matosinhos, Spain claimed the U20 Women’s EuroBasket title with a 102:50 victory over Lithuania in the final. The match concluded the tournament, held from August 2 to 10 in Portugal.

Spain entered the final in near-perfect form, having won four of their last five games in the championship. Their earlier group-stage victory over Lithuania reinforced the predictions in their favor, but Lithuania’s first-ever appearance in the tournament final added intrigue to the matchup.

After an even start (19:19 in the first quarter), Spain took full control in the second quarter, outscoring their opponents 37:12 to open up a 25-point lead. After halftime, Spain extended their advantage with dominant third (24:6) and fourth (22:13) quarters.
