TRITON World Series — Lisboa | Portugal — 2025

On September 6–7, 2025, Lisbon hosted TRITON 1 Lisboa, a one-day urban triathlon and qualifier for the TRITON World Series finals. The event offered three distances:

short (600 m swim, ~21.6 km bike, 5 km run),

middle (1.2 km swim, ~43 km bike, 10 km run)

long (1.8 km swim, ~86 – 90 km bike, 20 km run)

The swim took place at the Lisbon Oceanário, the bike course ran on the closed roads of Parque das Nações, and the run was held along the Tagus river promenade.

A total of about 700 athletes from several countries participated: 150 in the sprtint distance, 250 in the olimpic, and 300 in the half long distance. In addition, corporate teams competed, and on September 6 a Kids & Parents challenge was held.

The next event in the TRITON World Series is scheduled to take place in Portimão in October 2025, hosting the first TRITON World Finals.
